Assalamu Alaikum.
Salaah (prayer) is the second of the five pillars of Islam.
Each and every Muslim needs to pray five times a day. One of the requirements of prayer is wudhu (ablution).
What’s that? Well, it’s washing certain parts of your body in a certain manner.
How do you do it? Here are two resources that will help you:
[You don’t have to use both. Just use the one that you find easier to follow as the steps are the same.]
1. Steps of wudhu by Dr. Saleh As-Saleh (rahimahullah)
This is a simple guide to wudhu along with pictures.
It’s available in English and French.
2. Guide to wudhu in Flash
You can download it here.
Someone has turned it into a video:
Note: There is a difference between ghusl (full/complete ablution) and wudhu. Ghusl is similar to taking a bath. I’ll put more resources up on that later, insha-Allah.
